RUPERT SHELDRAKE Ph.D., is a biologist and author of more than 80 technical articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and 10 books, including A New Science of Life and Dogs That Know When Their Owners Are Coming Home. He was a research fellow of the Royal Society, and is currently Director of the Perrott-Warrick Project, funded from Trinity College, Cambridge. His work has been featured several times on the CBC Ideas programme.read full bio .
JILL PURCE pioneered the international sound healing movement through her rediscovery of ancient vocal techniques, the power of group chant, and the spiritual potential of the voice as a magical instrument for healing and meditation. She introduced the teaching of overtone chanting to the West after studying in the Himalayas with the chantmaster of the Gyutö Tibetan Monastery and Tantric College and working closely with the composer Karlheinz Stockhausen in Germany from 1971-4. She has been teaching throughout the world for forty years. She is the author of The Mystic Spiral: Journey of the Soul.read full bio
