PROCEEDS
After fees & expenses, proceeds will be given to the following two organizations that feel connected to this event. Your support for them is greatly appreciated.
Seva Canada is an international non-governmental organization whose mission is the elimination of preventable and treatable blindness.
Since 1982, our goal is to create and share sustainable and economically viable eye care programs through international partnerships.
“Helping out is not some special skill. It is not the domain of rare individuals. It is not confined to a single part of our lives. We simply heed the call of that natural impulse within and follow it where it leads us.” - Ram Dass: Co-Founder and Honorary Lifetime Board Member
“For thirty years now, Seva has served people around the world who are struggling for health, cultural survival and sustainable communities. We call it compassion in action.”
I have been very impressed with Vancouver SEVA representative Susan Erdmann’s heart in action. She has recently been to Nepal on on a SEVA project. A very deserving organization to contribute to through this event.

MANJARI SANKURATHRI MEMORIAL FOUNDATION
“Manjari Sankurathri Memorial Foundation (MSMF), a registered Canadian charitable organization, is aiming to promote rural community development in India, through education and vocational training, health care and emergency relief.”
I kept seeing this organization mentioned in places while dreaming up this event. You can watch a documentary online here on CBC. I met Dr. Sheldrake in India, Dr. Chandra Sekhar Sankurathri is also biologist.
